Building Partnerships and Building Homes - NADO Research Foundation and Neighbor Works America
The NADO Research Foundation and Neighbor Works America partnered on this joint training opportunity to connect national networks of EDDs and Neighbor Works America affiliate organizations. Participants learned about ways these valuable economic and community development organizations can work together to address affordable housing in their regions. Jay Trusty, Executive Director, Southwest Regional Development Commission in Minnesota presented on how SRDC is working with the Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership and Harrison Kanzler, Executive Director, AHEAD, Inc. in New Hampshire presented on how AHEAD is working with North Country Council.
The NADO Research Foundation and NeighborWorks America have built a new mapping tool meant to boost collaboration between Economic Development Districts (EDDs) and NeighborWorks America Network Affiliate organizations. Use this mapping tool to find which EDDs/NeighborWorks America Network Affiliate organizations are working in your area.
This webinar was offered through the NADO Research Foundation’s Economic Development District Community of Practice (EDD CoP). The EDD CoP is made possible through an award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce (ED22HDQ3070106).
