2024 NADO Summer Board of Directors Meeting

The NADO Board of Directors is comprised of Executive Directors and staff of regional development organizations throughout the United States. Approximately 65 board members come to participate in the summer board meeting where they convene about NADO’s strategic plan for the organization.
When to Arrive:
- NADO Executive Committee Members:
- Arrive at the hotel no later than Sunday night (06/02) or Monday morning (06/03)
- Golf Tournament and Peer Exchange Participants:
- Arrive at the hotel no later than Monday evening (06/03)
- First-time Board Members:
- Arrive at the hotel no later than Tuesday afternoon (06/04)
- All Others:
- Arrive at the hotel no later than Tuesday evening (06/04)
Note: On Tuesday, June 4, Board Members will have the option to either participate in the golf tournament, or participate in the peer exchange. Participation in these activities is optional. Board members who do not wish to participate in either activity do not need to arrive at the hotel until the afternoon/evening of Tuesday, June 4.

Make your reservation by calling the Hotel directly at (505) 836-6700 and using the group code: 2406NADO. All reservations must be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit in the form of check, money order or credit card. After receipt of a guaranteed reservation, the hotel will forward guest room confirmations to each individual upon request.
Room Rate: $199 + tax
Reservation Cut off Date: May 6, 2024
**This room rate is guaranteed until May 6. After this date, rooms and rates are subject to availability. Additionally, this rate applies only until our reserved room block is full, which could happen prior to May 6. We recommend making your reservation as soon as possible to secure this rate.

The $35 amenity fee is waived for NADO conference guests. This includes complimentary valet parking, USA Today newspaper in the lobby, access to fitness center, heated pool and hot tub, WiFi, and in-room bottled water and Keurig coffee/tea stations.
Cancellation Policy: The hotel maintains a twenty-four-hour (24 hour) cancellation policy for individual guest room reservations.

Airports
Eldorado Hotel & Spa is only 60 minutes from the Albuquerque International Sunport, which sees roughly 340 flights daily on airlines including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Jet Blue, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.
Groome Transportation provides transfer service between the Albuquerque International Airport and Eldorado Hotel & Spa with frequent and convenient trips throughout each day (Telephone: 505-242-0302 or, toll free, 888-775-5696). RoadRunner Shuttle & Charter offers similar services. Feel free to call them at 505-424-3367.
Note: Please allow approximately 1 to 1½ hour(s) for travel times. Shuttles are ready to depart 10 minutes prior to scheduled pick-up times.
Located southwest of the city, the Santa Fe Municipal Airport provides commercial airline service by American Eagle Airlines with daily flights to and from Santa Fe and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX). Commercial service is also offered by United Express with daily service to and from Santa Fe and Denver (DEN) and Phoenix (PHX).

Trains/Rail
The New Mexico Rail Runner train connects Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The trip from the Albuquerque International Sunport to the Santa Fe depot is approximately 90 minutes.
Amtrak arrives daily from Chicago and Los Angeles in the town of Lamy, only 20 minutes from Santa Fe. Eldorado Hotel & Spa can arrange shuttle service on request.
Car
Driving from Albuquerque International Airport: Take I-25 north to Santa Fe, and turn off at St. Francis Exit #282. Travel north on St. Francis 3.5 miles. Turn right on West Alameda. Turn left on Guadalupe Street. Turn right on West San Francisco Street.
Driving from Santa Fe Municipal Airport: Drive out of Santa Fe Airport onto Airport Road. Turn left onto NM 599 North. Continue approximately 10 miles. Take the Santa Fe Exit (Highway 284/84) to the right. Move to the left lane. Exit “Downtown-Plaza,” which will be Guadalupe Street.

Regional Food Systems in North Central New Mexico

Learn about the importance of regional food systems in North Central New Mexico starting with a visit to the North Central New Mexico Economic Development District (NCNMEDD) office to hear from the New Mexico Farmers’ Marketing Association. There will also be a visit to The Table Kitchen Santa Fe and YouthWorks! — two exciting programs that promote entrepreneurism and creating job opportunities. The Kitchen Table is an accessible and affordable commercial kitchen that helps local food entrepreneurs build their businesses. Youth Works! Provides training designed for youth in a variety of fields including culinary arts.
The Peer Exchange will include lunch provided by participants in the culinary arts program at YouthWorks!
Pre-registration is required and there is an additional $50 charge to cover the transportation and the meal at YouthWorks!.
