POSITION SUMMARY: The inaugural Presidential Associate for Diversity, Inclusion, and Campus Climate (MPP Administrator III) serves as the University’s Chief Diversity Officer, reporting directly to the University President and serving as one of eight senior leaders on the President’s Cabinet. As a new position, the Presidential Associate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and leading efforts to embed the core institutional values of diversity and inclusive excellence in all aspects of the University community, business practices, and programming. This position supports the University’s commitment to equal opportunity and affirmative action. The incumbent will provide senior-level leadership, vision and advocacy in the development and responsible administration of a range of activities, programs and strategies that advance diversity, inclusion and a positive climate at Cal Poly Pomona.
