The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC), is seeking a Finance Director who is charged with planning and organizing the system of grants management and compliance for the Regional Council. Expertise to apply the standards of the Office of Management and Budget uniform guidance with an emphasis on administrative requirements and cost principles and audit requirements is required of the work. The ability to understand and interpret these guidelines and develop a sophisticated organizational finance strategy is crucial. Job posting will remain open until filled.
As Finance Director, this position provides strategic oversight of PTRC’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, grant compliance, audits, internal controls, and long range financial planning. The Finance Director ensures fiscal integrity across a diverse portfolio of federal, state, and locally funded programs and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. This role works closely with department directors, member governments, auditors, and funding agencies to maintain transparency, accountability, and strong financial stewardship across 12 counties in central North Carolina.
