The Meramec Regional Planning Commission is accepting applications for the Community Development Specialist position. The Community Development Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise to communities in applications, administration of grant and loan programs, planning and special projects. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing information and education programs on current challenges facing local government, using ARCGIS, HAZUS, and/or other software to create GIS and cartographic products for member governments or planning projects, and assisting in the application preparation and administration of grants, loan programs, planning documents, research projects and other programs.
