By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe the most frequent causes of ATV/UTV crashes and injuries, with an emphasis on roadway-related incidents and contributing environmental or behavioral factors.
- Evaluate data and trends to inform transportation planning, public outreach, and infrastructure improvements aimed at preventing ATV/UTV incidents.
- Explain Alabama’s ATV/UTV laws and regulations, including roadway restrictions, registration requirements, and operator safety mandates.
- Recognize the unique challenges ATVs and UTVs pose to transportation safety and roadway design, particularly in rural and mixed-use areas.
