Economic Development Administration Awards 101 Partnership Planning Grants

Last week, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) announced the awarding of $21 million in Partnership Planning grants to 101 entities, after being temporarily paused. The pause, which was in response to recent presidential actions surrounding certain federal funding, allowed for EDA to complete an internal review of their grant programs to ensure they were in compliance.

For NADO members and EDDs whose organizations were due to embark upon a new EDA planning grant in 2025 who experienced a temporary funding pause, your organizations should now be in the pipeline to receive new infusions of funding. If you continue to receive guidance that Partnership Planning funds for your organization are paused, please reach out to NADO’s government relations team at [email protected]
