In this session at the 2012 National Rural Transportation Conference (April 25 – 27 in Burlington, Vermont), Federal Highway Administration Deputy Administrator Gregory G. Nadeau opened the conference with a keynote address. His remarks included discussion of regional role in transportation, economic development, and opportunities to improve project delivery as well as improve transportation safety.
