Rural Transportation Peer Exchange: Public Engagement Process in Rural Areas

NADO and AASHTO’s Center for Environmental Excellence will host a virtual peer exchange Thursday, August 7, at 2 p.m. ET. This peer exchange session will explore the significance of public engagement in transportation planning, examine how Rural Transportation Planning Organizations (RTPOs) incorporate public input in rural communities, and highlight examples of public engagement practices across the country.
