Please consider signing your organization onto a letter to House and Senate Appropriators asking for an increase to the overall Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) 302(b) allocation at the highest possible level for FY2015.  This funding allocation is critical to sustain U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) (http://www NULL.dot NULL.gov/) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) (http://www NULL.hud NULL.gov/) programs important to regional development organizations and NADO members.

After deep cuts in FY2012 to the THUD Appropriations Subcommittee 302(b) allocation, numerous organizations representing the nonprofit, private enterprises, and governmental sectors realized that it is necessary for Congress to increase the THUD 302(b) allocation in order to achieve the goals set forth by THUD funded agencies.  Last year, more than 2,400 organizations signed a letter to Congress requesting an increased allocation for FY2014.

This letter was drafted by supporters of the programs administered by DOT and HUD.  NADO has endorsed this letter.  Click here to view a copy of the letter.  Click here (https://nlihc NULL.wufoo NULL.com/forms/thud-302b-signon-letter/) to sign the letter. The deadline to sign the letter is March 12.  If you have any questions, please contact Ted Stiger at 202.624.8467 or [email protected] (tstiger null@null nado NULL.org).
