The NADO Research Foundation (http://www NULL.nado NULL.org/) is excited to host “An Afternoon with the CEDS,” a half-day, interactive training workshop on March 21, 2018 in Arlington, VA immediately following NADO’s Washington Policy Conference. At this free workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn the latest best practices and approaches to CEDS planning, development, and implementation
- Problem-solve your CEDS challenges with peers
- Discover approaches to infuse economic resilience and diversification strategies into your CEDS
- Hear from EDA staff about the latest news and funding opportunities
- Explore data tools available to support your CEDS planning
The workshop will be held at the Marriott Crystal Gateway (http://www NULL.marriott NULL.com/hotels/travel/wasgw-crystal-gateway-marriott/) (the same location as the Washington Policy Conference) from noon to 5 pm. Registration for the workshop will open in January. A limited number of travel stipends will be available on a first-come-first-served basis to go towards an additional hotel night. More information and a draft agenda will be available once registration opens. This workshop is part of NADO RF’s Stronger CEDS, Stronger Regions (http://www NULL.nado NULL.org/ceds) program, supported through a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (http://www NULL.eda NULL.gov/).
We hope you can join us for what should be an informative and interactive afternoon! Please e-mail NADO RF Program Manager Brett Schwartz at [email protected] (bschwartz null@null nado NULL.org) with any questions.
