Release of President’s FY2015 Budget to be Delayed

Posted on: January 10th, 2014 by NADO Admin

The President’s FY2015 budget release will be delayed by about a month.  By statute, the budget is due the first Monday in February (the 3rd), but the process of review between the Office of Management and Budget and federal agencies has been slowed due to the partial shutdown of the federal government in October. A delay in the release of the President’s budget will in turn delay congressional hearings on the budget and drafting of FY2015 appropriations bills.
