Regional Data and Analysis to Plan for Transportation Safety

Collecting and analyzing safety data can help regional planners to understand trends and contributing factors and perform several types of analysis to plan for and improve transportation safety performance. In this session of the 2016 National Regional Transportation Conference, attendees heard about methods for using safety data and shared information about experiences and training needs in an interactive discussion.  This session was moderated by Falguni Patel, Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments.
