This week, the NADO Research Foundation in partnership with the Economic Development Administration (http://www NULL.eda NULL.gov) (EDA) announced a new training program for staff at Economic Development Districts (EDDs) located in the EDA Austin Region.

The Economic Development District Training Program is targeted at early to mid-career planners and program coordinators who are interested in advancing their careers, possibly aspiring to serve as an executive director of an EDD.  However, any employee of an EDD located in the Austin Regional Office service area (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas) is eligible to apply as long as he or she is responsible for creating and implementing the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and related program activities.

Training dates will be determined in consultation with EDD staff members selected to participate in the program during the 2015-2016 year.  Click here for more information and application instructions.
