
Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Economic Development, the Projects & Initiatives Specialist is responsible for working with local communities to identify project priorities, determine sources of funding and resources to assist with project implementation, and conduct project management responsibilities relating to funded grant projects. This position will also partner with other Economic Development staff to develop grant proposals in partnership with member governments. In addition, this position is tasked with enhancing overall community engagement through developing and maintaining the public image of the RPCGB and the Economic Development department. Engagement responsibilities include updating and maintaining current contact lists of public officials, developing and implementing a community engagement plan, executing the department newsletter, and coordinating press announcements and events. Please click here to view the full job description.
