The City of Sacramento is accepting applications for the Director of Economic Development position. The Director of Economic Development is a newly established executive leadership role created to elevate and transform how the City of Sacramento advances economic vitality, competitiveness, and inclusive growth. The Director will lead the formation, vision, and execution of a modern Economic Development Department, overseeing approximately 32 staff and an $8.9 million budget across the department's business development, project delivery, community engagement, and grant administration functions.
