The Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG, pronounced ‘sim-cog’) is administered and operated through the Center for Resource Planning and Management at Missouri State University. Through this unique partnership, SMCOG has access to a wide variety of resources and technical assistance at the university.

SMCOG seeking a Grants Administrator / Disaster Recovery Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary regional planning and community development team.  This position offers the opportunity to work across the entire grant lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate with local governments to develop project concepts, identify funding opportunities, research community needs, prepare competitive grant applications, and administer funded projects through completion. Responsibilities include technical writing, data collection and analysis, stakeholder coordination, project management, procurement, grant compliance, financial reporting, and performance reporting for federal and state grants.
