The City of Tracy is seeking a passionate, strategic, and collaborative leader with a strong record of success in community and economic development, municipal planning, building safety, and complex public-sector operations to serve as the Director of Community and Economic Development. This leader will understand the opportunities and challenges of a growing community and be energized by the opportunity to help shape Tracy’s future. Under administrative direction from the Assistant City Manager, the Director of Community and Economic Development provides executive leadership and oversight for the City’s Community and Economic Development Department, including economic development, planning and building safety The Director plays a key role in advancing City priorities, supporting community growth, and delivering high-quality services to residents and the business community.
