As the COVID-19 Global Pandemic continues, NADO is both cautiously optimistic and prepared to manage this in-person conference in Kansas City with the health, safety, and well-being of our staff and conference participants as our top priority. NADO is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for the upcoming 2022 Four State Regional Economic Development Conference.

As we plan, we will continue to assess the risks in Kansas City and the current status in the United States. In keeping with the Association's duty of care and the responsibility as host, NADO may implement safety requirements such as proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test result, and indoor masking and physical distancing during the conference. We will continue to monitor and update safety precautions regularly and coordinate with trusted national resources, state and local public health agencies, and the host hotel.

Event background: This NADO conference will be the first of its kind in over 15 years and will bring together an estimated 100+ economic development practitioners from the following four states: Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa. These NADO members work relentlessly in their regions to improve economic and community development through place-based approaches in the areas of: housing, transportation, infrastructure, workforce development, entrepreneurship, disaster resilience, social services, aging services, and other sectors.

Registration Fee:
Early bird registration rate (deadline is May 2, 2022; after that rates will increase): $150
Regular registration rate (register by May 2, 2022 and save on your registration fee!): $200
