Join your regional development peers (Economic Development Districts, University Centers, RLFs, Tribal Planning Grantees, Regional Councils, Trade Adjustment Assistance Centers, and other regional development stakeholders) from the 10-state region of Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming at the Grand Hyatt Denver for three days of best practice exchanges, peer networking, and professional development training.

There will be 3 mobile workshops during the conference.  While the one to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory is now closed, there is room on the other two.  The mobile workshops require pre-registration and there is an extra fee to attend.

You can stop by the Conference Registration desk on the 38th floor of the Atrium Tower at the Grand Hyatt to sign up, or you can log into your portal at my.nado.org, then click on "My Account", then "My Registration". Select "Edit Details" next to the event, click on the "Edit" pen symbol right next to your name. This will take you back to the registration page of the event and you can make any changes: adding new workshop, taking additional guests, and proceed to check out as usual.

Conference sessions will cover a broad range of topics: CEDS process planning and implementation, and alignment with other plans; data sources and uses; training for new executive directors; economic recovery and resilience; indirect cost rate negotiations; Grants Online; EDD relevance, including measuring and sharing impact; broadband; Opportunity Zones; workforce and economic development; addressing underemployment and low employment; EDA program overviews; emerging industries; renewable energy; manufacturing; RIS; entrepreneurship and much more!

The conference will include a pre-conference workshop for new EDD executive directors that will start at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 26.  The conference itself will start at 8:45 am on Tuesday, August 27 and will  conclude around 12 pm on Thursday, August 29.  A preliminary agenda can be found on the Agenda and Presentations page; it will be updated regularly but might be useful for your travel planning purposes.

Conference registration rates are $300 (before August 16, 2019) and $350 (after August 16, 2019).
