This session occurred on August 26, 2013 at the Annual Training Conference in San Francisco, CA.
During this interactive tabletop exercise, participants learned about the value of building local, neighborhood-based relationships to promote community resilience and better prepare for disasters and other unforeseen challenges. Participants also learned more about San Francisco’s Empowered Communities Program, which promotes developing local partnerships and building capacity to improve the quality of life for its residents.
