This week, members of the 114th Congress were officially sworn in. Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) was elected for a third consecutive time to serve as Speaker of the House and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was named the Majority Leader in the Senate. Republicans now hold majorities in both the House and Senate. Congress is already gearing up for debate on key infrastructure legislation, which includes funding for the construction of the Keystone Pipeline, but President Obama has already indicated he will veto the measure.
