Organizations That Manage Loan Funds Create Rural Jobs Efficiently
Based on the findings of the 2002 EDFS Biennial Members Survey, this report includes data from 58 organizations that manage 167 loan funds. Over the past 25 years, they have made over 6,600 loans that have created and saved more than 112,300 jobs in rural America. The report examines factors that may affect organizational deal flow and default rates, and makes recommendations for how to strengthen the industry.
