The Economic Development Administration (EDA) has released its 2002 Directory, which includes a complete list of contact information for EDA Regional offices throughout the United States as well as the headquarters located in Washington, DC. The directory also provides a map of EDA regions, contacts by state and contacts by programs.

2002 Salary Survey Available
The NADO Research Foundation has released the 2002 NADO Membership Salary Survey. The report contains median salary and benefits information for key regional development professionals. Survey results are based on a sample of 50 percent of the nation’s regional development organizations.

ARC Telecommunications Study
The Appalachian Regional Commission has released Links to the Future: The Role of Information and Telecommunications Technology in Appalachian Economic Development. Researched by University of Texas professors Sharon Strover and Michael Oden, the study provides a detailed regional analysis of telecommunications barriers and opportunities. It incorporates data from the Federal Communications Commission, a review of state regulatory policies, interviews with service providers and local case studies.
