The Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments (INRCOG) located in Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking a new Executive Director.

INRCOG is a voluntary association of local governments serving member jurisdictions in Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw and Grundy counties. As a service and planning organization, INRCOG is responsible for coordinating, assisting and facilitating programs in community and economic development that benefit all governmental bodies in the INRCOG region. Services include professional comprehensive planning, regional transit operation, housing development assistance, and hazard mitigation and disaster recovery assistance.

The Executive Directoris responsible for the performance and oversight of all aspects of a wide variety of administrative, financial, and planning duties for the daily operation of the agency as directed by the INRCOG Executive Committee and Board. The Executive Director provides leadership of professional staff, financial and programmatic functions, while coordinating programs and policies.

Position requires a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field. Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration preferred. Requires minimum of five years of public sector administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
