FEMA Accepting Submissions for the 2011 Individual and Community Preparedness Awards

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is now accepting submissions for the 2011 Individual and Community Preparedness Awards (formerly the National Citizen Corps Achievement Awards).  The awards program showcases the work of FEMA partners at all levels of government, and includes nongovernmental, nonprofit, faith-based and private sector organizations, and individuals, families, and communities.  Submissions are due by August 26, and should emphasize achievements that occured between January 1, 2010 and June 1, 2011.  Additional information, FAQs, and lists of past winners are available here (http://citizencorps NULL.gov/councils/awards/2011/awards2011 NULL.shtm).
