2013 Economic Development Finance Service (EDFS) Peer Learning Conference
The EDFS Conference brings together business loan fund staff that are working in rural and small metropolitan regions to hear best and promising practices from loan funds around the nation, learn about federal program updates from agency staff, and engage in meaningful and relevant discussions and information sharing with their peers.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR DDAA LOCAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT LOAN FUND STAFF: Once again, the Development District Association of Appalachia (DDAA) will offer travel assistance for up to 20 loan fund staff (1 per organization) to attend the EDFS 2013 Peer Learning Conference in Greenville, SC.
DDAA will provide financial assistance for up to 20 small business loan fund staff from the 73 LDDs based in the ARC region that plan to attend the EDFS Conference in Greenville, South Carolina April 23 – 25, 2013.
Specifically, DDAA will reimburse up to 20 people for up to three nights at the hotel ($129 per night plus applicable taxes). This offer is for one person per organization and is for hotel room and tax only; and does not include any other costs (travel, meals and conference registration, etc).

She will either confirm that you are one of the first 20 and will be able to have your hotel room cost covered, or let you know that you are on the waiting list should someone need to cancel at the last minute.
- Register for the conference by visiting www.nado.org/events/edfs2013/ and registering on line.
- Reserve a hotel room at the Hyatt Regency Greenville by calling 800.891.3797and mentioning you are with the NADO conference. Reservations must be made by March 25 to receive the special rate of $129 single or double.
- After the conference, submit your reimbursement form to NADO. NADO will provide the form to you at the conference.

Depart the airport heading south on GSP Drive. Proceed straight toward I-85 / Greenville / Spartanburg, and then merge onto I-85 South toward Greenville. Merge onto I-385 North via Exit 51, toward Downtown / Greenville. I-385 North becomes Beattie Place. Our Greenville South Carolina hotel is located on the left side of Beattie Place.
From Chattanooga and Atlanta:
Take I-24 East toward Atlanta / Knoxville. Merge onto I-75 South via Exit 185A toward Atlanta (crossing into Georgia). Take the I-285 West / I-285 East exit #259 toward Birmingham / Tampa / Greenville / Augusta. Merge onto I-285 East / GA-407 East via Exit 259B toward Greenville / Augusta.
