On August 4, the White House Business Council and Terry Bobrowski, NADO board member and Executive Director of the East Tennessee Development District, hosted the Morristown Business Roundtable, in Morristown, TN. The roundtable featured Earl Gohl, Federal Co-Chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission, and was attended by U.S. senators and representatives, local elected officials, state officials, and members of the local business community. Per presidential directive, the White House Business Council is hosting roundtables in at least 100 communities across the country, with the purpose of listening to local businesses and getting feedback on how the Obama Administration can best support their growth.
