NADO’s annual Washington Policy Conference will be held March 1 – 3, 2010 in conjunction with the Development District Association of Appalachia’s (DDAA) annual conference. Both conferences will be held at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, VA.
The Washington Policy Conference will focus on regional and economic competitiveness and will include speakers from various key federal agencies who will provide updates and offer details on their agencies programs and agendas.
The conference will bring together over 400 regional development professionals, local elected officials and other economic development stakeholders to learn about the latest policy developments in Washington, DC.
A federal agency roundtable networking reception will bring together conference attendees and representatives from over 20 agencies, allowing ample opportunities for one-on-one discussions and dialog. Also during the conference, recipients of the 2010 Congressional Partnership Awards will be acknowledged. NADO encourages members to recognize Members of Congress who have supported national regional development priorities by nominating them for an award.
