APA and HUD Accepting Applications for Excellence in Community Planning Award

The American Planning Association (APA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are now accepting nominations for the HUD Secretary’s Opportunity and Empowerment Award.  The award honors excellence in community planning that has led to measurable benefits for low- and moderate-income residents, and emphasizes how creative housing, economic development, and private investments have been used in or with a comprehensive community development plan.  Applications are due August 30.  For more information, click here (http://www NULL.planning NULL.org/awards/).
