ZANETTA DOYLE, COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Zanetta Doyle serves as Communications Manager for the National Association of Development Organizations. She is responsible for assisting with writing, coordinating and disseminating NADO's weekly legislative newsletter NADO News, writing and distributing news releases, and assisting with writing and coordinating the printing for numerous brochures and publications. She manages the maintenance of the association's Web site www.nado.org and is the coordinator for the site's re-design. Doyle is the staff liaison for the NADO Innovation Awards program. She also assists with planning and organizing the association's annual training conference, which is attended by more than 600 regional development organizations as well as other workshops and conferences. She also served as Editor of the NADO Research Foundation's now defunct monthly publication Regional Development Digest.

Before joining NADO in October 2001, Doyle was the Managing Editor for several publications published by the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association. She was also responsible for writing and distributing news releases for the association, and managing the advertising revenue for the monthly newsletter PALLETtalk. Doyle, who has several years of journalism experience, holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Media of Arts with a concentration in Print Journalism from the University of the District of Columbia, and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Public Affairs with a concentration in Interactive Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C. Doyle has been a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Washington Independent Writers and the National Association of Black Journalists.
