Advocacy
Recognized as an informed, proactive and effective advocacy group that earns results, NADO's legislative team walks the halls of Congress and the corridors of federal agencies every day on behalf of regions. Members have access to the tools and resources - such as action alerts, issue briefs and congressional directories - required to be an effective communicator with federal policymakers. Visit the Legislative Affairs section for more details and resources.

Education and Professional Development
Whether at the Annual Training Conference or Washington Policy Conference, members have an opportunity to network with peers, meet with senior federal officials and enhance their professional development. NADO's research foundation also offers special training and networks for loan fund professionals through the Economic Development Finance Service. In 2008, training workshops will also be offered for brownfields redevelopment and rural transportation. View 2008 calendar for NADO meetings and workshops.
